Invite Your Team: Shared Dashboards in PingBase
PingBase now supports team member invites. Everyone on your team sees the same monitors, incidents, and status pages — no more forwarding alert emails or sharing login credentials.
Uptime monitoring starts as a solo habit and quickly becomes a team concern. When something goes down at 2am, you don't want to be the only person who can see the incident — or the only one who gets paged.
PingBase now supports team member invites. Invite your co-founder, your on-call engineer, or your entire team. They get their own login and see the same shared dashboard — same monitors, same incident history, same status pages.
How it works
From your account settings, go to Team and enter a teammate's email address. They receive an invite link, create their account, and are immediately added to your workspace.
Two roles are available:
| Role | What they can do |
|---|---|
| Owner | Full access — add/edit/delete monitors, manage billing, invite and remove team members |
| Member | View monitors and incidents, acknowledge alerts — cannot edit monitors or access billing |
Owners can change roles and remove team members at any time from the Team settings page.
Shared visibility, not shared credentials
The old workaround — sharing a login — creates audit problems and means everyone gets every alert. With team invites, each person has their own login, their own alert preferences, and their own notification channels.
The account owner sets up the monitors and billing. Team members can see everything and acknowledge incidents without being able to accidentally delete a monitor at midnight.
Available on Pro and Business
Team member invites are available on the Pro plan ($9/mo) and above. The Pro plan supports up to 3 team members. The Business plan ($29/mo) supports unlimited team members.
Solo founders on the free plan don't need this — but if you're building with others, inviting your team is the right move.
